We undertake action-research that is aimed at collating facts for advocacy work. RUCISO is involved in policy advocacy on various issues that affect women and their families. Our partners include Centre for the Study of Gender Violence.

We advocate for gender responsive budgets, reproductive health rights, involvement of women, women living with disabilities, HIV in governance structures, equal rights to education for both girls and boys.

The issues RUCISO Kenya is committed to advocating for include but not limited to the following:

• Participation of women (including WLWD’s, marginalized, minorities) in political, social and economic governance
• Gender Responsive Budgets
• Elimination of Gender-Based-Violence (GBV)
• Equal rights in education for girls and boys
